Today, while at my friends babyshower, we were playing a guessing game about the circumference of the pregnant belly. I just so happened to win and soon had to leave for work. A few hours later my friend and the lady who hosted the babyshower came in to make sure I was ok because apparently another attendee made a comment about my weight, said that I should measure myself since my pregnant friend and I were basically the same size. I was really touched that these ladies came to check on me. The hostess’ daughters heard the comment and were really offended and insisted that they check on me. If I would have heard this comment, there would have been some choice words, believe you me! I’ve put up with bullies like this woman all my life and I am NOT going to take it anymore. Just because you’re insecure about yourself, doesn’t mean that I have to be just because I’m fat. #effyourbeautystandards #HonorMyCurves

Today has been an awesome day! I had an job interview, hung out with a friend all day, went to the library, bought a cute gift for a baby shower, cleaned my room & the bathroom, talked to Tristy-la (my sister) about something that had been upsetting me and then I built a fire in a BBQ grill and made tin foil dinners us. The only thing that would have made it better would have been some marshmallows. <3
